Beginning your scarf: Make 9 green loops. Tie the orange yarn to the green yarn. Then, make 18 orange loops. Begin ROW 1 with the green yarn in front of your needles and the orange yarn behind your needles. With the orange yarn: Knit 3 Purl 3 Knit 3 Purl 3 Knit 3 Purl 3 At this point, you'll have reached the green loops. To switch to the green yarn: Without crossing the yarns, move both to the back of your needles. (see A) Bring the orange yarn left, over the green yarn. (see B) Now, pick up the green yarn and: Knit 3 (see C) Purl 3 Knit 3 Begin ROW 2 with the both yarns in front of your needles. With the green yarn: Purl 3 Knit 3 Purl 3 At this point, you'll have reached the orange loops. To switch to the orange yarn: Without crossing the yarns, move both to the back of your needles. Bring the green yarn left, over the orange yarn. Now, pick up the orange yarn and: Knit 3 Purl 3 Knit 3 Purl 3 Knit 3 Purl 3 Repeat rows 1 and 2 until you're happy with the length of your scarf.
